Trunk or Treat

We are having a Trunk or Treat tomorrow night. I made these ribbons for the Custom Contest and the Free Throw. After they have gathered their candy we also will have a bonfire with roasted marshmallows.

A FAREWELL PARTY

We had a Farewell Party for one of our Redwork Club Members on Oct 1st.

BLOGGER QUILT FESTIVAL - SPRING 2009

1st online Quilt Festival that I am joining into. Amy is the gal that has come up with this idea.

It was not hard for me to pick out my favorite quilt that I have made.

I made two of baby quilts, one for my Great Nephew and one for my Great Niece. They were born just a few months apart. I made them both alike except one is pink and one was blue.

I embroidered 9 blocks with Baby Animals with a pastel variegated thread, and quilted only around each block. I used a cute flannel print for the backing and attached a label. If you click on each photo you can see a close up and see more of the detail.

New Fabric

Some new fabric for a Teapot Hot pad, Tea Cup Pouch, and Tea Cup Coasters. The patterns are in the books Pretty Little Pot holds and Pretty Little Pouches.

OK I'm still here just been busy. I was at our Redwork Club today, everyone was tired of seeing my last post on the Robins. I hope they will be happy with this Post. I gave the program today on the history of Sewing Tools. I also had photos of some of my collections. We always have a good time.
